This gem in the heart of Westfield will WOW you. Our 1901 American Foursquare has been restored to its original grandeur.
The American Foursquare became popular from 1890 to 1935 and is known for its cubic shape which took advantage of every buildable inch. This shape made the American Foursquare popular for residential and business use.
Our facility was known as The Tourist Home in the early 1900s. When US 31 was, what is now Union Street, the road was a major thoroughfare from Indianapolis to South Bend and Chicago. The building was akin to a modern day bed and breakfast located on a heavily traveled road to accommodate overnight travelers.
