Q:  How much will it cost to have my event at The Fern?
A: The Fern will be dedicated exclusively to you for your event.  This includes two event rooms, the bar, and the kitchen for the caterer.  It also depends on the length of use, time of day and day of week.  Fees range from $250 to $750. Please refer to the "Pricing" page for more details. 

Q: What is NOT included in the fee?
A:  Linens, decorations, tableware, projector and screen, television and stereo are not included in the base fee, but they are available for rental.  If you require furniture or equipment in addition to, or different from the existing furnishings, we can secure it for you for an additional fee.

Q: What is the maximum capacity of the facility?  Minimum?
A: Our maximum capacity, based on square footage and staying within the building safety code is 83 people.  There is no minimum required.

Q: What special ammenities does the facility have?
A: Gas fireplace, bar, exquisite stained-glass windows, built-in speakers with individual room controls, stereo - bring your ipod with your favorite music, flat screen television in the bar, gourmet kitchen(design winner Indianapolis Monthly, September 2009), projector and screen, and outside terrace / patio (Spring 2010). 

Q: What about food and liquor?
A: Our exclusive caterer is Kelties.  Kelties has a wide variety of food and drink available for informal to formal events.  www.kelties.com
Q: How do I secure my date on your calendar?
A: Call or email today with your requested date.  If it is available, we will pencil you in.  Upon receiving your deposit of $500, your date will be secured.
